This crazy guy is watching out over me. I love you man. I know you have my back.
This song really hits home for me.
Left: me in a field of flowers (age 8/9)
Right: me and my uncle Charlie in Colorado (age 11)
Over all. I look dumb

Today I think about how in the bible God allowed his son to die before a crowd, his mother and his second father were left to watch as their only child died to save the lives of others. The story of the crucifixion is said to be a story of redemption, but to me, it’s the ultimate story of strength and sacrifice. Easter is always a weird holiday for me. To think that Jesus rose from the dead to save our sins and here I am alive each day continuing to sin, to sin while knowing that I’m sinning. It makes me wonder. Would the Lord send his Son to earth again to save us, or has He lost hope like so many others have? Now I know, I know, God wouldn’t abandon His creations, but would He send His Son again or would He teach us a lesson by means of something along the lines of another flood? Who knows.. but… It’s something to think about today while you’re eating candy and looking for pastel colored eggs.
